Title          : How to make kencur rice herbal medicine 




Ingredients  :   1.  1500 ml of water 
                        2.  150 grams of brown sugar 
                        3.  125 grams kencur 
                        4.    50 grams of white rice 
                        5.   5 tablespoons of sugar 
                        6.   5 cm ginger  and 1/2 tablespoon of tamarind

Instructions :  1.  Wash rice thoroughly, then soak in water for 1 hour. After that set aside.

                       2.  Boil tamarind, sugar, brown sugar and ginger with water until it boils. After that, wait until it's a bit cold and strain the water. Set aside.
                                             
      
                       3.  Wash kencur that is still fresh, then peel the skin and cut into pieces.
      
                          4.   Drain the rice soaked water that has been soaked earlier. Blend rice, kencur, and sugar cooking water until smooth.
                                             


                          5.  Strain kencur rice herbal medicine. Then squeeze the blender pulp until it is completely dry.   


                           6. Serve kencur rice with ice cubes or store it first in the refrigerator.

This herbal remains one of Indonesia’s favorite not only for the health benefits, but also for the fresh and delicious taste. Kencur, also known as aromatic ginger or sand ginger, is rich in zinc and other minerals, making it a common ingredient for various traditional cooking and medicinal recipes throughout Asia. Combined with rice and other spices, the herbal drink helps with cholesterol, inflammation, and overall immune system.

           First we heat the water then boil the kencur, ginger, turmeric, tamarind water, granulated sugar and palm sugar, then boil all the ingredients to boil. If it boils, strain the cooking water. Separate the pulp with clear water. Next, put a little rice that has been soaked and mashed in the cooking water. Then stir well and wait until the galingale or rice settles to the bottom, then serve the kencur rice while still warm to make the body warmer and more comfortable.
